About CO-OPt Research + Projects:
CO-OPt Research + Projects is an artist-run studio space and gallery located in Lubbock, Texas, founded in 2019. The gallery features curated exhibitions of contemporary art, a reading library of artist books and zines, and special programming of artist talks, performances, and experimental music shows. CO-OPt also functions as a working artist studio where artists J. Eric Simpson, Cody Arnall, and Aaron Hegert center their research and practice. The CO-OPt gallery and library is open from Wednesday to Friday, 10am-2pm, and on Saturday and Sunday by appointment.

We’re always interested in seeing what you are working on! If you think your work might be a good fit for the space, feel free to send us an email with your website or portfolio, and if we are interested in a proposal we will reach out.
We are also looking for spoken word submissions for the CO-OPt Voice project.
